Myers Park Keeps Collin County's Rural Side Close to McKinney
Just outside McKinney, Myers Park and Event Center holds onto a rural piece of Collin County. Its 158-plus acres mix preserved nature, gardens, open country, and event space.
The grounds connect to the county farm and garden world. Collin County runs the park alongside the Collin County Farm Museum, Texas A&M AgriLife Extension, and the Collin County Master Gardeners.
That gives Myers Park a different feel from a lawn-and-pavilion park. It keeps gardens, youth events, farm history, and open countryside within an easy drive of McKinney. The gardens are the standout when something is blooming.
