Allen, Texas

Allen is a suburban city in Collin County, part of the northern Dallas-Fort Worth metropolitan area and situated just south of McKinney and north of Plano. Once a farming and railroad community on the blackland prairie, it has grown into a densely developed residential and commercial city as the metroplex expanded northward. Allen is known regionally for its large high school football stadium and for the Watters Creek and outlet shopping developments that draw visitors from across the area.
