Carrollton, Texas

Carrollton is a city in the Dallas–Fort Worth area spanning parts of Collin, Dallas, and Denton counties, situated among the suburbs northwest of Dallas and near Plano, Frisco, and Irving. It grew from a farming community on the Blackland Prairie into a large residential and commercial suburb as the metroplex expanded. The Elm Fork of the Trinity River runs along its western edge, and the city includes a historic downtown square amid its modern development.
