Lowry Crossing is a small city in Collin County, in the northern reaches of the Dallas-Fort Worth area just east of McKinney. It lies in gently rolling prairie and farmland along the East Fork of the Trinity River watershed. Once a scattered rural community, it has increasingly felt the residential growth spreading outward from the surrounding suburbs.
