Brazoria County Property Tax Statements Can Go Paperless

Mail delays and moves can make property tax season messy. Brazoria County Tax Office lets owners request electronic tax statements instead of paper ones.

To set it up, the county tells owners to complete Comptroller Form 50-843 and email it to the tax office. That request is tied to the county tax office, not the appraisal district account.

For a rental, inherited property, vacant lot, or house with unreliable mail, e-statements can be a useful backup. Keep the mailing address current too. Paperless delivery does not replace checking the official tax account each fall.
