Orange County lets routine registration renewals happen online once you are within 90 days of the expiration date. The county mails the new sticker, and the same site can handle some address changes.

Have current insurance and a payment card ready. If TxDMV says your vehicle still needs an inspection record, handle that first. The county page also lists a $2 online service charge and a $1 postage-and-handling fee.

TxDMV allows online renewal up to 90 days early and, in many cases, up to 12 months late if you have not been ticketed for expired tags. For a lost sticker, title problem, or name change, call the tax office instead of forcing the web form.
