Pinehurst is a city in Orange County in southeastern Texas, lying about 21 miles east of Beaumont in the flat, low country near the eastern edge of the state. The terrain is wooded with the pines and hardwoods characteristic of this corner of the Upper Gulf Coast. It forms part of the built-up area around the city of Orange, within the industrial Golden Triangle along the lower Sabine River.
