Rose City is a small city in Orange County on the flat coastal plain of far southeastern Texas, sitting just a few miles from Beaumont in the region's low, marshy lowlands near the Neches River. The area lies within the industrial corridor of the Upper Gulf Coast, a landscape of pine flats, wetlands, and refining and petrochemical activity. Its position close to Beaumont makes it part of the wider Golden Triangle.
