Pine Forest is a small city in Orange County in the far southeastern corner of the state, about 8 miles from Beaumont in the Upper Gulf Coast region. The surrounding landscape is low, flat, and wooded, part of the pine and hardwood country of southeastern Texas. It lies within the industrial Golden Triangle area, close to the refineries and waterways along the lower Neches and Sabine rivers.
