There's a County Museum Tucked Inside the Cleburne Courthouse

Walk into the Cleburne courthouse and Room 139 is more than another office door. Johnson County lists that room at 2 Main Street as the Johnson County Courthouse Museum, with the county's 1854 start right there in the museum listing.

Its setting is the charm: local history inside the same courthouse people still know as the county seat. It is a small stop, but it makes the courthouse feel less like just paperwork and more like a place with memory.
