Briaroaks is a small residential city in Johnson County, set in the wooded countryside of North Texas about 18 miles south of Fort Worth. It sits just off the southern edge of the Dallas-Fort Worth metropolitan area, near the larger town of Burleson, in a landscape of low hills, oak stands, and rural home lots. The community is chiefly residential, with little commercial development of its own.
