Wylie, Texas

Wylie is a city in Collin County in the North Texas suburbs northeast of Dallas, within the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex, roughly 11 miles east of Plano. Once a small farming and rail town on the blackland prairie, it has grown rapidly as the outer suburbs of the metroplex have expanded. Lavon Lake lies just to the north and east, giving the area shoreline and recreation along the reservoir.
