West Orange is a city in Orange County in the far southeastern corner of Texas, on the flat coastal plain near the Sabine River about 22 miles east of Beaumont. It lies within the Golden Triangle industrial region, an area long associated with petrochemical refining, shipping, and related heavy industry along the Sabine-Neches waterway. The surrounding low country is marked by bayous, marsh, and pine woods typical of the upper Gulf Coast.
