Volente, Texas
Volente is a small village in Travis County on the shore of Lake Travis, in the Hill Country northwest of Austin and about 16 miles from the city. Set among the limestone hills and coves along the Colorado River reservoir, it is a lakeside community whose surroundings are defined by rugged terrain, cedar-covered hills, and the recreational waters of the lake.
