Lago Vista, Texas
Lago Vista is a city in Travis County on the north shore of Lake Travis, in the Hill Country about 19 miles northwest of Austin. Built up as a lakeside resort community, it spreads across steep limestone hills and canyons above the reservoir, with waterfront parks, golf courses, and a small airport. Boating and other water recreation on Lake Travis anchor much of local life.
