Set on the flat coastal prairie of Jefferson County, Taylor Landing is a small city in the marshy lowlands of far southeastern Texas. It lies about 15 miles south of Beaumont, surrounded by the rice fields, pastures, and wetlands that characterize this stretch of the Upper Gulf Coast.
