Sinton, Texas

Sinton is the seat of San Patricio County, on the coastal plain of the Texas Coastal Bend about 18 miles north of Corpus Christi. The country around it is flat farmland and grazing land near the Aransas River, cotton and grain territory in the reach between the coast and the brush country. Just northeast of town lies the Welder Wildlife Refuge, a large private preserve devoted to wildlife research and conservation.
