Santa Rosa is a small town in Cameron County, in the Rio Grande Valley near the state's southern tip, in the McAllen–Brownsville corridor of far South Texas. It sits on the flat delta farmland of the lower Rio Grande, a region worked heavily for citrus, cotton, and winter vegetables in the Valley's warm subtropical climate.
