San Juan, Texas

San Juan is a city in Hidalgo County in the Rio Grande Valley of deep South Texas, sitting just east of McAllen amid the flat farmland of the lower valley. It is best known as the home of the Basilica of the National Shrine of Our Lady of San Juan del Valle, a Roman Catholic pilgrimage church that draws large numbers of visitors each year.
