Pharr is a city in Hidalgo County in the Rio Grande Valley, situated on the flat delta plain of far South Texas and immediately adjacent to McAllen. It sits at the southern edge of the state along the Rio Grande, a busy commercial corridor for produce and freight in the lower valley.
