Nazareth, Texas
Nazareth is a very small city on the flat, treeless High Plains of Castro County in the Texas Panhandle, about 50 miles southwest of Amarillo. The surrounding country is dryland and irrigated farmland, part of the grain and cattle economy of the Llano Estacado. The community has a strong German Catholic heritage and is centered on its parish church.
