Happy, Texas
Happy is a small town straddling the line between Randall and Swisher counties on the flat High Plains of the Texas Panhandle, about 33 miles south of Amarillo. The surrounding country is open, level farmland given to wheat, grain sorghum, cotton, and cattle feeding. The town is widely noted for its unusual name, sometimes styled as "the town without a frown."
