Mountain City, Texas

Mountain City is a small city in Hays County, on the eastern edge of the Texas Hill Country between Austin and San Marcos, about 18 miles south of Austin. It is a compact residential community set amid the rolling terrain and live oak of the Interstate 35 corridor, surrounded by the larger towns of Buda and Kyle. Its setting places it within one of the faster-growing stretches of central Texas.
