Lott, Texas
Lott is a small city in Falls County, in the blackland farming country of Central Texas about 25 miles south of Waco. The surrounding landscape is a mix of level cropland and prairie drained by tributaries of the Brazos River. Cotton and other row crops long shaped the local economy, and the town grew as a stop along the rail line that crossed the county.
