Lawn is a small town in Taylor County, about 22 miles south of Abilene in the rolling rangeland of West Texas. The country here is open and semi-arid, a mix of ranchland, mesquite, and cultivated fields on the edge of the Rolling Plains. It is a rural farming and ranching community well off the interstate corridors.
