Buffalo Gap, Texas

Set in southern Taylor County about 13 miles south of Abilene, Buffalo Gap takes its name from a natural gap in the Callahan Divide, a low range of hills that bison and early travelers used to pass through. The surrounding country is rolling rangeland at the edge of West Texas. The town is home to a historic village preserving early buildings from the region's frontier past.
