La Feria is a city in Cameron County in the Rio Grande Valley of deep South Texas, set amid the flat farmland of the lower valley near the Rio Grande. It sits along the U.S. Highway 83 corridor east of McAllen and northwest of Brownsville, in a region long known for its citrus groves and irrigated vegetable farming.
