Coahoma, Texas

Coahoma is a small town in Howard County, on the flat plains of West Texas about 50 miles northeast of Midland. It grew as a railroad and trade point along the Texas and Pacific line, and the oil discoveries of the region later made it a supply center for the surrounding oilfields. The town sits amid open ranch and farm country near Big Spring, in a landscape of wide horizons.
