Bayview is a small town in Cameron County at the southern tip of Texas, set in the flat coastal plain of the Rio Grande Valley about 17 miles north of Brownsville. It lies inland from the Laguna Madre and the Gulf, in country given over to farmland, brushland, and scattered rural homesteads.
