Aubrey, Texas
Aubrey is a city in Denton County on the northern edge of the Dallas–Fort Worth area, about 11 miles east of Denton. It lies in gently rolling North Texas prairie that has long supported horse ranches and farmland, though the surrounding land has seen rapid suburban growth as the metroplex expands outward. The area is known for its concentration of horse-breeding operations.
