Van Zandt County marriage licenses go through the County Clerk in Room 202 of the courthouse at 121 East Dallas Street in Canton. The office handles them by appointment, with an application sent in ahead of time.

Texas has a 72-hour wait between getting the license and the ceremony unless a waiver fits. Bring valid photo ID for both people and be ready to pay the license fee.
