Mabank, Texas

Mabank is a town in Henderson and Kaufman counties in East Texas, roughly 49 miles southeast of Dallas. It lies near Cedar Creek Reservoir, a large lake that draws anglers and weekend residents, and the surrounding landscape marks the transition from the Blackland Prairie into the wooded country of the eastern part of the state. The lake and its recreation are central to the local economy.
