Edom, Texas

Set in the rolling Piney Woods of Van Zandt County about 18 miles west of Tyler, Edom is a tiny East Texas community best known as a longtime artists' colony. Beginning in the early 1970s, potters and other craftspeople settled along its rural farm road, and the town has hosted an annual arts festival that continues to draw visitors to its shops and galleries.
