Eagle Mountain Park Adds Lake-View Trails on TRWD Land

Eagle Mountain Park gives northwest Tarrant County a trail outing on TRWD land, separate from fishing or boating on the lake itself. The park covers roughly 400 acres on the northwest shore of Eagle Mountain Lake.

More than five miles of hiking trails move through cross-timbers forest. A couple of loops climb to bluff views over the water.

The trails are hiking-only, with no bikes and no pets, which keeps the park quieter. For Saginaw, Azle, Lake Worth, and northwest Fort Worth, it is a lake setting without needing a boat.
