Nature Park Stories & local character

Cullinan Park Is a Big Sugar Land Nature Stop

Cullinan Park puts 754 acres of nature on the edge of Sugar Land. The land came to the public from the Nina Cullinan estate.

The park is pedestrian-only by design. It has an observation tower, nature trails, a short loop around White Lake, a wetland boardwalk, and an overlook. There are also picnic areas, a pavilion, grills, restrooms, parking, and signs that explain the habitat.

For a suburb known for shops and subdivisions, Cullinan is a real green pause. It is good for birding, a quiet walk, or showing visitors that Fort Bend still has wild edges near the freeway.
