Check a Cherokee County Parcel Before You Sign

Before you put money down near Rusk, Alto, Jacksonville, or Wells, open the Cherokee Central Appraisal District site. The online services menu links to property search and an interactive map.

That is not the same as a survey or title search. The appraisal roll can lag a sale. It can miss an easement. It also does not tell you who owns the minerals. Still, it can flag a mismatch early, such as acreage that looks off or a lot that sits differently than the listing describes.
