Westlake is a small town in Tarrant County, in the DFW / North Texas region, lying about 18 miles north of Fort Worth and roughly 16 miles south of Denton. Set on the rolling prairie of the northeastern corner of the county, it is an affluent, low-density community known for large corporate campuses and master-planned residential development. Several major companies maintain headquarters or regional operations within its bounds.
