Roanoke, Texas

Roanoke is a city in Denton County, positioned about 15 miles south of Denton and roughly 19 miles north of Fort Worth in the northern reaches of the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Once a small farming and railroad town on the prairie north of the metroplex, it has grown into a suburban community and is known locally for its concentration of restaurants along its historic Oak Street district. The surrounding terrain is gently rolling North Texas prairie interspersed with subdivisions and highway corridors.
