Walnut Springs is a small city in Bosque County, in the rolling grassland and cedar-covered hills where Central Texas meets the eastern Hill Country. It stands about 50 miles northwest of Waco and some 54 miles southwest of Fort Worth, in ranching country drained by the tributaries of the Brazos River.
