Wallis, Texas
Wallis is a city in southeastern Austin County, in the flat coastal-prairie farmland west of Houston and about 25 miles west of Sugar Land. It lies in the rich agricultural country of the Brazos River bottoms, an area long worked for row crops and cattle. The surrounding region has a strong Czech and German heritage typical of the small farming towns of Austin County.
