Universal City, Texas

Universal City is a suburb in northeastern Bexar County, about 14 miles east of downtown San Antonio, set on the gently rolling terrain at the edge of the South Texas plains. The city grew up directly outside the gate of Randolph Air Force Base, a longtime Air Force flight-training installation, and the base remains the defining presence in the community's history and daily life.
