Live Oak, Texas

Live Oak is a suburban city in Bexar County, part of the built-up northeastern edge of the San Antonio metropolitan area and about 13 miles northeast of downtown San Antonio. It sits on the rolling terrain of South Central Texas near the Interstate 35 corridor, with New Braunfels about 16 miles farther up the highway to the northeast. The city developed largely as a residential community within the greater San Antonio urban area.
