Union Valley is a small community in Hunt County, in the blackland prairie and rolling farm country of North Texas about 23 miles east of Garland. It lies along the eastern edge of the Dallas metropolitan area, in a region of open cropland and pasture that has increasingly drawn suburban growth from the west.
