Royse City, Texas
Royse City lies along Interstate 30 on the northeastern edge of the Dallas–Fort Worth region, spanning parts of Rockwall and Collin counties about 24 miles southeast of McKinney. Founded as a railroad and farming town on the blackland prairie, it has grown steadily as the metroplex has pushed eastward, becoming a fast-developing bedroom community. The surrounding land is a mix of farmland, new subdivisions, and highway commerce.
