Toco, Texas
Toco is a small community in Lamar County, in the rolling farmland and blackland of North Texas near the Red River. It lies roughly 67 miles northeast of McKinney, in a rural stretch of the county well outside the Dallas-Fort Worth metropolitan area. The surrounding land is given over largely to pasture and row-crop agriculture.
