Taylor, Texas
Taylor is a city in Williamson County, on the Blackland Prairie of Central Texas about 28 miles northeast of Austin. A former cotton and railroad town, it retains a historic downtown and a long-standing reputation for Central Texas barbecue. In recent years it has drawn national attention as the site of a major Samsung semiconductor manufacturing complex built on its outskirts.
