Coupland is a small community in eastern Williamson County, set in the Blackland Prairie farm country of Central Texas about 17 miles east of Round Rock. The surrounding land is gently rolling and historically given over to cotton and grain agriculture. It remains a rural crossroads town on the eastern edge of the fast-growing Austin metropolitan region.
