Hutto, Texas

Hutto lies in Williamson County in the blackland farming country northeast of Austin, near the fast-growing suburbs of Round Rock and Georgetown. Long a small agricultural community on the Central Texas prairie, it has grown rapidly as part of the Austin metropolitan area. The town is known for its hippo mascot, and hippo statues appear throughout the community.
