Tahoka, Texas

Tahoka sits on the flat High Plains of the Texas South Plains in Lynn County, about 29 miles south of Lubbock. It is the trade center for a stretch of cotton country, and the surrounding farmland has long made Lynn County one of the state's leading cotton-producing areas. The town lends its name to the Tahoka daisy, a lavender-blue wildflower of the region.
