Sealy, Texas
Sealy is a city in Austin County on the coastal plain west of Houston, lying about 33 miles west of Sugar Land where the prairie meets the bottomlands of the Brazos River. It grew as a railroad and agricultural town, and its position along Interstate 10 keeps it a stopping point between Houston and the country to the west. The area around it is a patchwork of farmland, ranch pasture, and river woodland.
